WHERE ARE WE LOST?

Bonjour, beautiful people!

“WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?” Mmmmm, well lemme guess that- you must have been somewhere, tryna achieve your ambitions and to-do-list so hard, thinking over your relationships and equations, so hard, busy in the race of maintaining your social media handles, so rigorously, or maybe busy in a world, that was way too superficial!,

What actually yearns me to take down my thoughts, over here today, is that in this scheme of netfix and chill, I suddenly got a mirror, that narrated me the story of our shallow realities so well, that it amazed me, for sure. Well, the admission of these very thoughts, happened exactly, the day, I witnessed the story of three friends- Neil, Ahana and Imaad, 3 flatmates, or lets say, the old childhood friends, depicting the condition of Gen Z in all the aspects.

Ahana being a well- literate, well- groomed, and above all a gentle and a sincere personality, understanding the worth of true love and relationship so hard, that it, at once, became her own suffering, FR! She was brought to a point where the generation really believes that giving a relationship the name of “true love” and having a motive of ending it into an eternal relationship, is nothing but being what u call as absurd and being delusional. Unfortunately, Ahana starts losing all her worth and the belief that she actually was filled with goodness, when she starts dating a typical Gen Z male hardly being concerned about her feelings.

Imaad Ali – alias- Zeeshan , who used to operate Tinder, that most of us are engrossed into, these days, for the reason we have actually given the real emotions and real relationships, back seat, making superficial and short term relationships, obviously because what holds us together is our benefits, our fun and our shallow commitments. A stand up comedian, and a serial dater obviously, busy meeting girls and ghosting thereafter!

While, Neil, representing a middle class family- having the urge and desire , just like most of us are having! In the urge of earning high, in the urge of faking happiness over social media, these three pals came to perceive the disturbing reality that in the procedure of showing their social media followers, that they were happy, they forgot to tell it to themselves that – THEY ACTUALLY NEED TO BE HAPPY! Proceeding in a direction that had no place for values, friendship and true lov, in the pathway. They started showcasing ,how they actually wanted to be, in lieu of discovering what literally made them elated!

But the best part of the story lies over here, my friends, that they ended the year full of hardships, renouncing their own toxic version where they had a pursuit of desiring to become “someone else”, concluding their own significance by virtue of, how others used to treat them, by assuming that “true love relationships” in this generation, is a hypothetical situation. Hence taking a new year resolution of sticking to the principle- TUM TUM HO, TUMHARE JAISA AUR KOI NAHI HAI!

Is it even justified the way, we have lost ourselves , the way we have deviated from the path that can take us to our happiness, and the way we are changing ourselves for someone else, for the sake of ” standard society ” Have you ever felt like a misfit in your generation, ironically, have you ever felt a generation gap from your generation? In today’s world, what if you don’t like hook-up culture, and what if u do believe in true love relationships for you have grown up at your home, witnessing love, care and values from your parents and their parents! What if you actually don’t wanna run the race of idolising your body, your looks, your dressing sense, just the way the influencers do? What if you actually wanna have fun and wanna run through the beautiful childhood memory lane, going on a dinner outside, without any reason, and you wanna feel the happiness of witnessing the beauty and charm of the monuments and temples, with them instead of hanging out in the clubs and getting high and then addressing it as ” I am, actually weekending” . what if you actually wanna have fun and jokes exchanged, instead of sitting together but being apart, as you were busy scrolling the various handles! What if you actually wanna be happy instead of being a virtually happy person!

KHO GAE HUM KAHAN- that we can’t find ourselves again!

Hey peeps, back here with one of the most interesting stories, I got to cherish this very week. It is the story of the City of Pune, The Oxford Of The East and the most beautiful place in Maharashtra indeed! The eighth largest metropolises in India, Pune is located in the state of Maharashtra. It is the second largest city in the state after Mumbai, and is an important city in terms of its economical and industrial growth. Once the hometown of Marathas and a centre of power for the Maratha Empire, the presence of the numerous edifices in Pune links to its rich and glorious past. The city leads as the ‘veritable heartland’ of cultural Maharashtra. Pune also has made its mark as the educational epicenter winning itself the sobriquet, ‘The Oxford of the East’. Not just that, it has a growing industrial hinterland, with information technology, engineering and automotive companies sprouting. The city is known for cultural activities like classical music, spirituality, theatre, sports, and literature. Pune is a pleasant travel getaway destination to spend a quiet holiday.

Undoubtedly, not here as a tourist, but as one of those students, who come here for their education. Whatsoever brought me here, I am truly thankful for being over here. So my story urges me to drag ur attention towards the fact that it is always commended that , when on a vacation, you must have a to-do-list, which places to visit, even till date, I do have experienced several such trips, where we proceeded according to the plans, the maps we had! But how about, losing all your directions, to just let yourself free, to wherever the breeze calls you! When some entirely unforeseen happenings, unanticipated days and unpredicted people embrace you, on a day which had to be a normal one, full of routinely acts and melancholy, then it marks to be the best thing indeed!

On this note, here comes my unexpected trips of the week: The day was a usual one, as programmed earlier. The first half was mostly spent in the college premises attending usual classes and monotonous sessions of syllabus. And by 2:30 we all got free, subsequently assembling at one of the friends’ place, sitting all together, making plans for a perfect saturday night, hitting some clubs or cafe, and as I told ya, the plans and plots might give the impression of being the perfect procedure of pursuing something, but at the end of the day, the unexpected events influence you more, surprise you better!

Magic happened , when out of nowhere, the scorching heat and the burning Sun, bid adieu to us and was chased by the beautiful winds and clouds, covering the whole city of Pune with windy chills and mesmerizing clouds. The beauty of this city is that it apparently reads our minds and make the weather change accordingly! Amidst this, I proposed my utter desire of giving visit to one of the main attractions of the place: Khdakwasla Dam. Khadakwasla Dam is a dam on the Mutha River 21 km (13 mi) from the centre of the city of Pune in Maharashtra, India.The dam created a reservoir known as Khadakwasla Lake which is the main source of water for Pune and its suburbs. In the vicinity of Khadakwasla Dam is the National Defence Academy (NDA), the Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), the College of Military Engineering, Pune (CME, Dapodi) and Central Water and Power Research Station (CWPRS). A few kilometres to the south lies Sinhagad Fort; the twin dams of Panshet and Varasgaon, which mainly supply water for irrigation but also feed into Khadakwasla Lake, lie just 8 km (5.0 mi) due west of the backwaters of Khadakwasla Lake. And to describe its beauty, I would definitely admit that there is no any word suitable in my vocabulary to justify its beauty and the vibes it gives you in such a weather! It would be better for me to ask ya to visit the place and justify its beauty only with your sight, as somethings , even if described in words, stay dissatisfied! Before reaching the place, the ferocious velocity of the winds, suggest you of being in the vicinity of this place, so even if you think of shutting down the google maps, and just enjoy the ambience, it wont be a bad idea for sure! For a crazy soul like me, who just cant stay home, so frequently, who just wants to visit the whole world, this place was absolutely a bliss. Seemed like the day, tried to fulfill my cravings by bringing clouds of joy and fragrance of happiness and the weather was so so apt for that event and for me, for real. Utterly a slight sunny evening, with the sunshines peeping, there, from behind the clouds, where you could have easily spotted them, smiling for you. I got lucky enough, for thankfully, it didn’t rain cats and dogs for that day, as we over here are habituated to welcome rains every now and then. My whole squad was enchanted to by the weather, pairing it with the taste of babycorn, ice-creams, eventually adding more joy and happiness to the trip! At one moment, I just realized that the vibe of the clubs and the cafe are way too jolly, but the serenity of this place, provides you with a different sort of relief! By evening, we returned, by treating ourselves amply with coffee, cotton candies and the pure breeze of Khadakwasla!

The next day, again wasn’t supposed to keep me indoors as well, subsequently, the next night was a gorgeous girls night out, signifying the happiness of freedom and independence, to fly like beautiful butterflies, away from all the worries, on the glimmering streets of Pune! Got to visit the Desi Apetite, with my chums, enjoying punjabi thallis and all. As everyone says, good food make you feel good, I say, good people make you feel the best, wheresover you go! Playing games, having and roaming around with big big smiles!

Then came the next evening of the week, when again in the want of a perfect vibe we paid visit to the Cafe Demutasse, enjoying the special Ice Tea, vibing on the perfect playlist they had and enjoying the work we had, amidst that vibe!

The next evening was again the one, filled with calm and serene air! ISKCON NVCC Temple, Katraj, was our next place to be! It comes under the chain of the many ISKCON temples in India, which is the best place for the devotees to be in… It’s serene scenes are definitely gonna give you truckloads of joy and the way the devotees dance in their love for Krishna, is a sight to be captured forever!!

You people too must be having just perfect weeks or weekends like this! And if not, just wait for that unexpected events to surround you and surprise you obviously! Would definitely love to hear your story! See y’all, soonish!

It’s not weird, it’s beautiful!

Hey Chums, how have you all been?

What brings me here today is the concern about the thing, that in this scenario, where we all are literally running a rat race, in the want of superficial and materialistic perfections and accomplishments, have you forgotten to pay heed on the basic primary and candid being, that you used to be and in the process of deliberate evolution, are you being too hard on yourself while striving hard for the want and sake of perfection, the want of flawlessness might not have been accomplished, but what has really been attained is the loss of ability to perceive the purity and magnificence of how imperfections were also way too beautiful!

No wonder the people and their so called sophisticated lifestyles often make us crave for betterment and competitions for perfection, in every walk of our lives, but these lifestyles and the wants for perfection, have dissolved all your ways of adoring the candid and the innocence of originality, you actually were gifted with, before you resolved to evolve!

The term “beauty” for which every being struggles from day to night, is not an absolute term at all, it is a relative concept indeed which varies from me to you! I have read several definitions of “beauty” and what it costs to become and look beautiful, and I am sure, you people also might be having hundreds of theories and ways for that, I don’t know, you might even laugh, but the thing for which you are actually persevering, was so appealingly carved, so effortlessly resting within your soul! It was unfiltered, it was beautiful, it was great, it was actually you just being youuu, your soul was never polluted, it had streams of purity and innocence within, but the day you too got in the race, all these eventually got washed away!!!

BEAUTY: A STATE OR A FEELING INDEED?

You adore nature in the natural forms, for every child, her mother turns out to be the prettiest woman indeed, you adore the skies, even if it gets captured by the dark clouds, it was you, who danced in the rain, and smiled for the love it poured from above, then what has actually caused the failure of yours in accepting yourself to be beautiful, however weird you might have been called by the world, just the way Moon reflects its beauty, even if it carries some scars and blemishes!

And then comes the clumsy still beautiful meee:

Life has often been so weird and clumsy these days, that me, being a 21 years old girl, has often failed to control the overpowering emotions, and its ok for the times even when, she could not control her, she cried her heart out, but she was confident and bold to show the actual phase, and reflect the unfiltered emotions, this way! Though I have often failed in being able to apply all those colorful makeup stuffs but still appearing beautiful, despite of lacking the basic alignment skills, because it was confidence of carrying your own art, it was the truth, it was the beauty! Sometimes, I might have weirdly had a fall, in front of big crowds, but laughing my heart out, though everyone might have made fun of it, was beautiful. Even the blurry images were beautiful enough to make the memories crystal clear!

I agree that those mornings were supposed to be perfect, and in accordance with the routine, but its ok even if you chose to be little lazy today, skipping your official durations in utilizing some self proclaimed holidays in sleeping some extra, eating some extra, but weren’t they beautiful diaries?

I agree you were supposed to be dressed decently, while stepping outdoors, but how about surprising your friend in pyjamas, carrying some chocolates and watching movie together, without the fear of being judged! that was the beauty of the bond, the beauty of your comfort space.

I accept you were to be very hard on your gymming routines, but how beautiful was that day when you skipped it for chocolate cakes and chips, and smiled for yourself!

My dear friends,

Life was never supposed to give you regrets. It was only you being harsh on yourselves, you were supposed to accept that you were confident enough in each of the days and events. It’s totally true that you burn the midnight oil for your goals, but at the end of the day, if you failed to recognize the beauty of whatever you are, even today, if you failed to pick the aesthetic instances of your imperfections, your soul would have got exhausted in the race of finding the ideal and perfect self: your soul deserves to be a merry and a cheerful one. So hold your heart and tell it: It’s not weird, it’s beautiful!
